It needs a very specific balance of wattage and voltage to keep the preform at the right temperature. We use high-wattage, short-wave lamps because they punch through the PET material fast. We also made sure these tubes fit the OEM footprint exactly. Why? Because if the angle is off by even a fraction, the IR radiation misses the mark. Just a heads-up: keep an eye on your power supply. If your voltage jumps around, your output dips, and you’ll burn through bulbs way faster than you should. Built to take the heat We use heavy-wall quartz glass. It has to be tough to handle the constant heating and cooling cycles without cracking. You’ll also notice we use a halogen cycle. This stops the tungsten filament from baking onto the glass and creating those annoying “dark spots” that ruin your heat uniformity. The best part? They’re a total drop-in replacement. You just use your existing connectors and you’re back in business. No need to rip apart your oven housing or modify anything.
