A quick tip from the shop floor Here’s the thing: high-output lamps put more stress on your power supply. To make these last, you’ve got to keep your cooling fans clean. If the airflow is blocked, heat builds up around the lamp ends and eats away at your connectors. It’s a simple fix, but it makes a huge difference. I’d also suggest checking the socket contact tension every 1,000 hours. It prevents arcing and keeps the lamps from burning out way before their time.
